In 2019, after years of building successful, scalable operations for other people — often working 70+ hours a week — I founded Northstead. I was tired of pouring myself into businesses, fixing the problems, raising the standards, and then being left feeling unwanted and used.

In 2021, at the height of the pandemic, we worked with a boutique hotel in mid-Cornwall that was on the brink of collapse. We helped secure funding, rewrote their business plan, restructured their operations, and developed a unique package offering that stabilised the business. That one site has since grown into three — using our same playbook for each reopening.
